(1) I’m so excited about this cane. I’ve been looking for a folding cane that is unique, simple, and sturdy for a very long time, so you can imagine that I was blown away when I found it for only $11!
I’m a young college student with mobility problems, and it’s really important to me that if I have to carry a cane it’s going to be an absolutely adorable cane. This cane definitely fits that description. The handle is a dark faux wood that shines in the sunlight and the base is a bright, cheery copper color- it looks just like a clean penny!
I love that it’s adjustable, finding the perfect height for me took only a few moments. When I fold up the cane it fits perfectly in the bottom of most of my purses so I can always have it with me, just in case- even on the days when I don’t /think/ I’ll need it.
Not many people can say that spending $11 (plus shipping) actually improved your quality of life. I can.
(2) I purchased this for my Mom who requires a cane when walking. The cane came in quite tall, which is good for taller users, it was an easy cut with a hack saw. I purchased this in thought she wanted something she can carry around, but she rarely folds it. I don’t think it’s difficult to fold, but she just doesn’t care to fold it. So, if your looking for a cane for someone older, you might just want to buy a regular cane.
(3) All I can say is, this is all it advertises, and then some. Don’t let the price fool you (we were hesitant), but it is beautiful, strong, and the handle really is actual wood (I’m a woodworker), highly-polished Cherry no less!
