(1) This is one of the only products that cleared up my acne. I use it every night. It doesn’t smell great, but works very well. I recommend it for anyone with a lot of congestions and some pimples. For skin with a lot of pustules I would only recommend this once or twice a week with light pressure so as not to break open the pustules and spread bacteria. After the skin has cleared somewhat, then use more frequently.

(2) I have been using this product for over 30 years twice a day (I’m 62 years old now). People comment all the time about my beautiful skin. Sometimes I leave it on for about 30 minutes before I wash it off & it makes my skin as soft as a baby’s skin. It may be too strong for some skin types but it works wonders for me.

(3) On recommendation from my dermatologist, I have been using Pernox regularly since I was a teenager, as has my 30-something son. Pernox really works for people like us who have oily skin prone to breakouts by cleaning the pores and leaving our skin smooth and clean. I had my first facial a couple of years ago, and the technician was amazed at how clear my skin was.

Because Pernox is becoming harder to find in the stores, I’ve tried other particle-based scrubs, but none has worked anywhere near as effectively.

It is the BEST! It helps heal outbreaks faster than anything you’ve ever tried. I don’t have oily skin but it works for all types of skin. Right now I have a skin allergy problem where patches on my face just keep peeling off and being red and inflamed. I was afraid to use Pernox and tried many other prescription creams, salves and otc products to no avail; usually it got worse. Recently I pulled out the ol’ Pernox and scrubbed lightly a little every day and it is beginning to heal up with several places not peeling now. The rest of the spots are no longer inflamed. Hooray for Pernox once again! Try it. You’ll love it. It is expensive but a little goes a long way and you don’t necessarily need to use it every day. A bottle usually lasts me about 4-6 months. I even add a little water to the last bit in the bottle to get just a little more out of it!
