Obagi Medical Clenziderm M.D. Therapeutic Lotion Benzoyl Peroxide 5%. For external use only. Do Not Use if you have very sensitive skin or are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen. Avoid contact with eyes, lips and mouth. This product may bleach hair or dyed fabric. Using other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor. If you are pregnant or breast feeding, ask a healthcare professional before use. Stop use and ask a doctor if too much irritation or sensitivity develops or increases. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Indications
Treats acne, Dries up acne pimples, help prevent new acne pimples.

Ingredients
Active Ingredient: 5% Benzoyl Peroxide. Inactive Ingredients: Benzyl Benzoate, BHT, Dicaprylyl Ether, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Disodium EDTA, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate, Phenoxyethanol, Polysorbate 60, Propylene Glycol, Squalane, Water (Aqua)

Directions
Use once a day or as directed by your physician. Clean the skin thoroughly before applying. Pump product once onto fingertip and apply evenly to entire face, avoiding the eyes, nose and mouth. Allow Therapeutic Lotion to absorb completely before applying Therapeutic Moisturizer. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application per day. If bothersome, dryness, or peeling occurs, reduce application to every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen.

I have had acne, nonstop, since I was 12 or 13, and am now on my way to 30. Last year as I was getting ready for a big event, my dermatologist recommended I try the entire Obagi Clenziderm line. To my utter amazement, my skin began to clear up after just a few days. After a few weeks it was like I had a whole new face. I have never, ever found a skin care product that worked to cure my acne, but Obaji delivered exactly what it claims. It is like a miracle potion! Now that I am simply maintaining my clear complexion (that I still stare at in the mirror in disbelief), I use an organic face wash, and only the therapeutic lotion, because I figured that step is what actually kills the acne bacteria. I do recommend the entire line if you are trying to clear your skin for the first time, but after that, I have found that using only the therapeutic lotion works just fine.
