(1) I’ve been using this Panasonic electric shaver with nano blade technology (ES8228 or ES8109S) for the past 2 months and love it. Without exaggeration, it gives me the closest shave ever, and I’ve been using the top of the line electrics from Norleco and Braun for over 20 years. I have compared the Panasonic shaver with nano blades with the Braun Pulsonic and Norelco Arcitec and found that the Panasonic gives me the closest shave. Dry shaving will also give you a close shave. You won’t regret this foil beauty, and you can’t beat the price.
(2) I have owned the ES8109s for almost 2 years and I am shocked at how good it has been. In this day and age when most products are mediocre performers, and only last for a year at most this Panasonic has performed outstandingly since I have owned it. I use it almost daily and yet there is still no need to change the blades, and I have only used one cleaning cartridge so far. However, today I am ordering a 3-pack. My invested time in researching a quality shaver has paid off ten fold. I will have to start considering other Panasonic products in the future.
