(1) The downside? We were promised immediate shipping but it took nearly a week for the company to ship. Don’t wait until the last minute to buy this item – allow an extra week. On the upside? Bought this for my mother after she broke her hip. After trying 3 other designs this was found to be the best. It took longer to initially attach because of the need to bolt it down, but is a better design then the other kinds that we had as loners. It fits right on the toilet and the seat goes on top so you can close the lid or lift the lid like a regular toilet. It is also easier to clean the toilet, don’t have to take the whole thing off like the other types
(2) An excellent aid for those who need elevation and support following hip replacement. Sturdy and easy to install. A perfect substitute for a bulky chair. Nice decor as well. Highly recommended.
