Ecotools Bamboo Brush Set,5 Piece Review
There are 4 brushes in this set. I love them all. The mineral powder brush and the mini kabuki brush are perfect for flawless application of powdered mineral makeup. I have used both the shadow and concealer brushes to apply eye shadow. They work great too. These brushes are very soft and luxurious feeling. And they are very well constructed. I’ve experienced no shedding.
I own a lot of makeup brushes including some very high end professional quality brushes. These brushes have not disappointed. They are so much better than the brushes that are sold by Bare Minerals.
Environmentally Friendly-Cruelty Free & they work very well!,
The name of the brand says it all, and if you care about the environment and animals( as I do), these are the brushes you should choose for your cosmetic application.
For myself, these brushes suited my needs perfectly.
I also bought other sets from ECOTOOLS. I was not disappointed.
I do want to clarify something: For the average woman who uses make up, these products will meet their expectations and then some.
Make up artists, due to their line of business, may be pickier about their brushes.
I can appreciate that, after all, this is how they make a living.
I am NOT saying a make up artist should not buy these brushes;
I just know that many have high standards regarding the items they use in their make up tool box, and one true artistry brush by itself could be 3 times or more, the cost of a Ecotool set.
(That being said- I am sure out of the selection ECOTOOLS offers, there has to be some brushes that a make up artist would be more than satisfied with.)
Side Note: Whether it comes to make up application or working on crafts- I have never been fond of real hair brushes.
They can be a disaster when crafting with paint with loose hairs getting stuck in your project.
With regards to make up application, brushes that shed hair have always been a turn off for me.
Sure, the better quality real hair make up brushes don’t have as much of a shedding problem, but do you want to spend that kind of money PER BRUSH?
I think the prices on ECOTOOLS items are reasonable;especially considering how many tools you get in a package.
Buying from this company is both a practical and a *feel good* purchase and I will continue to use their products.
I only wish more companies cared enough to provide cruelty free brush options.
