(1) So far this scale has been very accurate. It has not been off more than 2 oz. I can step on, step off, repeat and get pretty much the same reading everytime. I also love the fact that it can store up to 5 weighs. Everyone gets to see their own progress. I am very happy with the purchase.

(2) This scale looks good on the bathroom floor! But, that isn’t why I most like it. A huge plus is that it’s always on zero and ready to go when it is turned on. There is no stooping down and dialing it to zero and tapping it before weighing yourself on it (like all the other scales we’ve owned in the past). Five buttons, one for each person in the family, “remember” different weights. This allows each one of us to see what we weighed the last time we stepped on the scale in addition to our current weight. The platform is big so you won’t feel like you have to balance on the scale in a small area. The numbers are large and clear and can be easily seen even in a well-lighted or sunny bathroom. It’s light in weight and is easy to lift and move to another spot when cleaning. This is the nicest bathroom scale I’ve ever owned and I’m glad I found it.

(3) I had a Taylor scale with all the bells and whistles and found it varied a lot from day to day. After reading many reviews of countless scales and talking to friends, I decided Tanita would be a trustworthy brand. This scale is very simple but allows me to see my progress from one weigh-in to the next, and also has enough memory for 5 people to use. The weight is accurate vs the old school “doctor” scale–whereas my other scale added at least 3-5 lbs depending on the day!!
