Clean – Clean each of your lenses with lens plus daily cleaner and rinse with lens plus sterile solution before placing them in the appropriate basket of the lens holder. Disinfect – Disinfect with UltraCare Disinfecting Solution. Fill the UltraCare cup to the fill line with solution. Neutralize – Neutralize with UltraCare Neutralizing Tablets. Place one neutralizing tablet into the solution before inserting the lens holder and tightening the lid. Gently turn the UltraCare Cup upside down, then right side up 3 consecutive times to wet the upper surfaces of the cup and the inside of the sup. Store for a minimum of 6 hours. The UltraCare Neutralizing Tablet will color the solution pink reminding you that you have added the neutralizing tablet. Note: If the solution is not pink, you have not added an UltraCare Neutralizing Tablet to the solution. The pink coloration is an easy reminder that you have added your neutralizing tablet. Once a Week: Remove Protein Buildup – Add one ultrazyme enzymatic cleaner tablet at the same time you add the UltraCare Neutralizing Tablet to the disinfecting solution. Remove lenses and rub and rinse with lens plus sterile solution prior to applying the lenses to your eyes.

Used it for years!,

 This cleaner is really hard to beat, especially if you have allergies to all the other solutions out there with the built in cleaners, soaking solutions and insertion solutions combined. This is basically a purified bottle of peroxide, a lens cup and a neutralizing tablet, but it definitely works the best. I cannot use all those other solutions – they just play havoc on my eyes. I’ve used this for 20 years and don’t plan on switching anytime soon. Highly, highly recommend!

Best cleaning solution!,

 This cleaning solution is the absolute best. My contacts stay clean, feel soft and do not feel dry while wearing. I can wear my disposables for months before changing them and have no problems. The two steps can be a bit of a pain, but I have the confidence of knowing is I were to forget the neutralizer tablet the solution won’t be pink so I will know and not accidentally put them into my eyes. With Clear Care there were a couple times I put my contacts in and had burning as though the solution had not been completely neutralized.

Not like the others,

 I have new hydrogel soft contacts, the kind for dry eyes, and found that the cleaner I had used with my previous soft contacts made the new ones a bit stiff. I tried several cleaners made just for this type of contact and had an immediate allergic reaction to all of them. Oxysept UltraCare really is preservative free and I have no reaction to it. Yes, it is a bit of a bother because you have to have both the solution and the little pills, but it is about as easy as they can make it and it does not make my eyes itch. I just wish they made a 2 oz travel size.
